- Mike:
-
- At long last, the DP/4 Templates. What a Bitch!
- The good news--The plus uses the same format and probably will
- only require some minor relabelling, etc.
-
- The file is absolutely maxed out on space. Don't move anything
- or edit macros. This will either cause a crash in SQ or will
- not allow the "DisplayData" (GU) gadget to update the display.
-
-
- Please read the HLP and HLT files--They are very important.
-
- You may also want to add a note about the extreme slowness
- of the DP/4 in changing parameters and modes. once you are
- in the parameter, things seem to work at normal-like speeds.
- for this reason, I set most gadgets to "Macro on release".
- Since there is a problem (as I mentioned before) when this is
- done with sliders, I left these set to normal "Use Macro". If
- You have fixed this problem in Sound Quest, they should be set
- to "Macro on release" also.
-
- I have also noticed that when numeric gadgets are marked "Show
- Sign", the Plus-signs do not seen to display in Sound Quest even
- though they do show in Tech Quest.
-
- I am also sending some example data files labelled DP/4DATA.LZH.
-
- The drivers required numerous remote commands and the DP/4
- sometimes has trouble keeping up and may display something like
- sysex error
- message 03
- This is usually harmless, but it rarely may mean that the DP/4
- is not in the correct mode.
-
- You may also want to include the following information in one of
- the Help files:
- I set the audition macros in the bank drivers to always write to
- Location 00 for editing. If you want this location restored after
- editing, simply click on the patch in the first position.
